July 2010 - Standard Room Oceanview
We recently stayed in your resort, just to have a get away from living on sail boats here on the island. It got off to a rocky start and was some miscommunication, but I want to say, you have some excellent staff. Their concern and very gracious manner made it all up. Your young lady at the front desk is a gem, really has a grip on customer service. We hope the next time we need a breather to come back and Thank All for being so kind.
August 2009 - 2 Bedroom Beachfront New Hampshire
My family and I stayed at Bolongo Beach and this was our fourth trip to St Thomas. It turned out to be one of best holidays we had here. We went to Iggy's for dinner one night last year (their restaurant has specials every night) and had a great time and met some of the staff who convinced us to return for a holiday. The place is really well kept and the staff is very friendly. Rooms are well equipped but nothing fancy but we had no complaints. The beach was fantastic and we loved the catamaran day sail which was included in the rates. There was lots to do for the kids and the grown ups the same. I would recommend this resort to families for excellent value and great activities. We booked room only this year but realized the All-Inclusice option is a much better value so we booked it for next year.
July 2009 - Oceanview Barcelona
My sister and I just returned from five day vacation at Bolongo and we had a great time. We consider many of the larger resorts but choose this one as it offered a genuine escape to paradise. It is family run hotel and they provide us with great hospitality and we were still able to do all the activities you can do at a big resort. Our room was not fancy but it offered nice views of the bay from our balcony. The food was very good in the restaurants and the drinks very tasty! You know alot of people return alot here year after year and we would love to join them next year, except for much longer!

What a lovely resort and people! We arrived on a rainy day and were greeted by the friendly staff who brightened up our spirits assuring us there was still many things to do besides the rain. We checked into our room which was very nice (it has recently been remodeled) and then strolled over to the bar area for a few cocktails. It was so relaxing and laid back talking to the other guests who were so friendly just like the staff. We spent all of our evenings just like the first one. We knew we had chosen a good spot because there were many people from around the island that came here for their meals. Every night had a different special and we just can't say enough about the food. It was so surprising for an All-Inclusive plan that I have to say it was the best we have come across and we've traveled extensively throughout the Caribbean in similar style resorts. We spent most of the days on the beach in the loungers relaxing. We did attempt a few excursions, the complimentary sail was great, my husband took a Scuba Diving lesson and loved it and I did try kayaking which was surprisingly fun. Throughout our stay the staff remained friendly and very sincere in wanting to help us out at any moment so I would give this resort top marks for Service, Food, Value and Quality. Highly recommend.

This was an overall fantastic family holiday. Nenna was great from myvirginislands.com. She gave us a few recommended for resorts on the island and we selected Bolongo together as it seemed to fit in well with all of our needs. She was absolutely right about the property being in a beautiful location, the food was amazing and the staff were some of the nicest and most helpful I have come across, kudos to her! The stay itself was perfect really. We lucked out with the weather, sunny skies every day, we managed to get our kids to try all the watersports and they loved every minute. Our rooms were well kept and had a kitchenette that was very useful for breakfast and snacks throughout the day so we saved a bit of money there. Our last night we stayed at the Carib Beach resort to be close to the airport as we had a very early flight. It worked out well with the kids. We are returning to Bolongo next year and will book the All-Inclusive plan as it seems to be a much better deal and we saw the amount of the food and drinks you get!
