It was a bit of a drive from the airport, but nice to get away from the traffic and noise. Such a charming resort with wonderful staff and rooms. Celebrating our 25th anniversary here was perfect and highly recommended for anyone really as it's a versatile resort where you can find a quiet corner to relax or be playful with the many amenities they have. We plan to return again next year.
November 2008 - Oceanview Louisiana
We absolutely fell in love with this resort. A beautiful location away from the busy part of the island in the sweetest cove area. Our reception was warm on our arrival and we felt at home right away. We were escorted to our oceanview room which was on the highest part of the property with gorgeous views. Having our coffee and bagels in the morning while watching the sun rise every morning was a treat. The rooms are very basic, clean and fantastic value. The restaurant Blue Moon served very good food as did the few local eateries nearby, but we bought a few things from the store so we had most meals in our room other than dinner. What a fabulous week we had here!
